Build a demanding simulator around the XT160’s 40 × 160 aluminium-profile frame. The CoreBolt structure, Flat-to-Front wheel mount and extended pedal deck create an adjustable foundation for a serious cockpit build.
Product details and specifications
Maximum rigidity. Ultimate control. The SimXPro XT160 is a top tier sim racing cockpit built for extreme direct drive torque, heavy duty braking, and long term upgrade freedom.
Overview
The SimXPro XT160 is the flagship aluminium profile sim racing rig for drivers who demand unmatched strength, full adjustability, and a zero compromise driving feel. Built from ultra heavy 40x160 aluminium profiles and the new precision-positioned SimXPro CoreBolt™ internal mounting system, this racing simulator cockpit is engineered to stay solid under the most extreme forces, including high torque wheelbases, hydraulic pedal sets, and full motion platforms.
Maximum rigidity for demanding hardware
The XT160 is designed to minimise flex under any condition. The massive 40x160 profile structure and internal CoreBolt™ connections deliver a stable base for consistent wheel control and pedal precision, especially when running stronger direct drive systems and heavy brake pressure.
New CoreBolt™ Mounting System
The new SimXPro CoreBolt™ mounting system introduces a completely new way of assembling the XT160.
Instead of traditional external corner brackets for the main chassis connections, CoreBolt™ creates an extremely strong internal connection using concealed bolts. The bolts are tightened through precision-drilled CoreBolt holes in the profiles, creating a clean and rigid connection from inside the structure.
Because every CoreBolt™ connection point is precision-positioned during manufacturing, the main frame components automatically align in their intended position during assembly. No measuring tape or spirit level is required to position and align the main frame.
The result is a cleaner cockpit with fewer visible brackets and bolts, together with a significantly faster and more straightforward assembly process.
By replacing the traditional main chassis corner-bracket connections with CoreBolt™, the assembly time of the XT160 has been reduced by approximately 50%.
Precision positioned. Internally connected. Half the assembly time.
Want to see CoreBolt™ in action? Check the XT160 assembly video for the complete installation process.
New Flat-to-Front Mount™
The XT160 now comes standard with the new SimXPro Flat-to-Front Mount™, replacing the need to choose between a separate front mount or flat wheeldeck.
One mount. Many options.
The Flat-to-Front Mount™ is supplied with a conversion plate that allows the mount to be easily converted from a front-mount configuration to a flat-mount configuration. Everything required is included as standard.
The system supports a wide range of wheelbase mounting patterns, both flat and front, without compromising the strength or adjustability of the mount.
The Flat-to-Front Mount™ also offers an increased range of angle adjustment compared with traditional wheelbase mounting solutions, allowing you to fine-tune the position and angle of your wheelbase to your preferred driving position.
The side profiles can be installed in two orientations. Choose a clean flat outer surface or rotate them to show the profile channels, depending on the look you prefer for your cockpit.
No separate wheeldeck. No additional front mount. Everything you need is included with the XT160.
Key features and what is included
- 40x160 aluminium profile chassis for the highest structural rigidity
- New SimXPro CoreBolt™ internal mounting system with concealed bolts and precision-positioned connection points
- New SimXPro Flat-to-Front Mount™ included as standard, complete with conversion plate and support for a wide range of flat and front wheelbase mounting patterns
- New Extended Profile Pedal Deck included with a larger pedal mounting area, increased angle and extension adjustment, and integrated heel rest as standard
- Shifter profile mount included with 58 cm extension
- Adjustable feet included for floor levelling and grip
- Industrial black powder coating for a premium, durable finish
New Extended Profile Pedal Deck
The XT160 is equipped with the upgraded SimXPro Extended Profile Pedal Deck, developed to provide an even wider range of pedal adjustment and driving positions.
The enlarged pedal deck provides more mounting space for larger pedal sets, while the increased angle adjustment and extended longitudinal adjustment range make it easier to position the pedals precisely for your preferred seating position.
An integrated heel rest is included as standard, creating a complete pedal platform and helping you achieve a precise and comfortable pedal setup.
The increased adjustment range also allows the XT160 to be configured beyond a traditional GT position, including lower and more extended LMP2 and Formula-style driving positions.
Built for full integration
As the flagship of the SimXPro ecosystem, the XT160 is built for clean expansion. Add triple monitor mounts, keyboard trays, motion systems, and custom mounting solutions without rebuilding your cockpit. The aluminium profile chassis follows the modular principles many racers associate with an 80 20 or 8020 style profile rig, with SimXPro finishing and fit.
Why choose the SimXPro XT160?
- Designed to eliminate flex under demanding racing loads
- Supports direct drive wheelbases, hydraulic pedals, and motion systems
- Modular structure for long term upgrades without structural limits
- Premium look and feel with precise component alignment
- The strongest chassis in the SimXPro range for elite level simulation
Built like a machine and made for racers. If you want the ultimate sim racing rig foundation, the SimXPro XT160 is it.
Plan your complete driving position
Start with the seat position, then set pedal reach and steering height around it. Keep a comfortable bend in your arms and allow enough clearance for your knees, entry and exit. A profile cockpit offers many adjustment points, so make one change at a time and check the position while seated.
Choose the wheel-mount version for the exact wheelbase: front, side and underside mounting patterns are different. Compare the selected bundle with the equipment you already own. A cockpit photograph can show a seat, displays and controls that are separate purchases unless the selected configuration expressly includes them.
